Teflo coatings are heat-resistant inorganic non-stick coatings that can be used in iron, steel, aluminum, ceramics, etc., are widely used in metallurgy, petroleum industry, natural gas extraction and other industrial fields, and can withstand temperatures up to 350°C or even higher.
It not only resists high temperature, but also has the properties of heat shock and wear resistance. Through the coating, the metal surface and the surface of various refractory materials can be modified to improve the performance of the base material, save energy and improve the metal The service life of the base material is more than 1-2 times.
Physical and chemical indicators of Teflo coating:
1. Odor: Teflo coating is tasteless and non-irritating.
2. Wear resistance: >10000 times (4.9 kg load, 3M scratch cloth)
3. Corrosion resistance: 24 hours immersion in 70~80°C acid, 10% NaOH, solvent, water, salt water, the paint film is normal.
4. Thermal shock: generally at 350°C/25°C, 20 cycles, no abnormality in the coating film.
5. Heat resistance: >500°C (long-term use temperature), >700°C (short-term use temperature).
6. Cold hardness/hot hardness: ≥4H (aluminum alloy, Mitsubishi pencil).
7. Non-sticking: strong anti-pollution to soy sauce, pigment, oil, milk, fried eggs and cooking rice test meet the requirements.
The main components of Teflo coating:
1. Film-forming substances are the main components of the coating film, including oils, fats, processed products, cellulose derivatives, natural resins and synthetic resins. The film-forming substance also includes a partially non-volatile reactive diluent, which is the main substance that makes the coating firmly adhere to the surface of the coated object to form a continuous film. It is the basis of the coating and determines the basic characteristics of the coating.
2. Additives such as defoamer, leveling agent, etc., as well as some special functional additives, such as substrate wetting agent. These additives generally cannot form a film, but they play a very important role in the process and durability of the base material to form a coating film.
3. Generally, there are two kinds of pigments, one is coloring pigment, common titanium dioxide, chrome yellow, etc., and the other is extender pigment, which is also commonly referred to as filler, such as calcium carbonate and talc.
4. Solvents include hydrocarbon solvents (mineral spirits, kerosene, gasoline, benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.), alcohols, ethers, ketones and esters. The main function of solvent and water is to disperse the film-forming base material to form a viscous liquid.
