Low friction coefficient

The coefficient of friction of the Teflo coating is generally in the range of 0.05 to 0.20, depending on the load, sliding speed and the type of specific Teflo coating used.

Teflo spray non-wetting

Since the surface coated with Teflo® is both oleophobic and hydrophobic, it will not be easily wetted. Cleaning is easier and more thorough-in many cases, these surfaces can be self-cleaning.

Teflo spray heat resistance

Teflo industrial coatings work continuously at temperatures as high as 260°C/500°F; under the conditions of sufficient ventilation, the short-term use temperature can reach 315°C/600°F.

Unique electrical properties of Teflo spray

In a fairly wide frequency range, Teflo coatings have high dielectric strength, low dielectric constant, and extremely high surface resistance. Through special technology, the material can even have enough conductivity to be used as an antistatic coating.

Low temperature stability of Teflo spray

Many Teflo industrial coatings can withstand harsh and extreme temperature conditions without compromising their physical properties. Teflo industrial coatings can be used at low temperatures as low as -270°C/-454°F.

Teflo spray chemical resistance

Generally speaking, Teflo is not affected by the chemical environment. The only two chemicals known to affect Teflo industrial coatings are molten alkali metals and highly reactive fluorinating agents.
